Hey, so after breaking my MK2 furio i bought a mk2 VTR. Have owned it for a little while know and have been meaning to do a little progess so here it is. Bought it Standard 1 owner, FSH, 37k. it was the perfect to add my parts :)

Next had to get better wheels and rubber. I had winter VTS wheels on the furio so just need to get new rubber, went for Toyo Proxies again :)

When I decided to lower it i still had my coilovers and spax rear shocks off my furio so just fittied them, same as on the furio I found the the steering rack arm was rubbing on the power steering pipe, found a simple way to fix this was to fit a mk1 power steering pipe.

Also whilst lowering I fitted me EBC pads and disc's.

Will upload some pics later of how the lowering went. :)

Little up date.... My friend crashed his Clio 172 Cup and the police were called, they was trying to say we was racing (maybe we was maybe we wasnt) then as they had no evidence they then turned to my car. I got a £30 fine and said if I didn't raise my car they would impound it.
So with not much thought I decided to raise it a tad. So here's some pics.

I've never heard of getting a fine for a car being too low. Sounds a bit prickish on the cops part. Car is looking good though mate.
Also your friend is really lucky to have come out with no major injuries!!!

Was starting to get abit annoyed had been to a couple o car meets and everytime there was no grommet left in my rear window :(

So decided to get a nut and bolt sorted, I used a MK2 spoiler bolt as they have a nice flat head, I then grinded it flatter and also to loose the tourqes head. It's at about 60mm ish now. Haven't had any problems with that height so it's all good :D

Yeah I don't think you could have done.... He was also not happy that it was still cause its on coilovers and spax adjustable set to stiff.... But oh we'll haha..!!!

We was going for a drive along a B road and we both drive quick, wasn't a race as it was my best mate, and I clearly know a 172 cup is quicker, but he couldn't keep on the back road.

I then decided to lacquer it with heat proof lacquer as then it wouldn't corrode as its only mild steel. But I really happy with how it turned out :D

Just raceland, but haven't had 1 problem with them, can't say a bad thing about them... Not sure how low but can't lower the front anymore as runing 20mm spacers so will catch the arch :( I know wish I had stuck my ground :( haha... Oh well.

Decided to clean up my engine bay today as ages ago I quickly painted the rocker cover black to cover up the rust.

Have taken it off re-sprayed it gloss black, new rocker cover badge, refitted pippercross induction kit, and bmc breather filter and a good old clean up. :)

I was getting annoyed that the Saxo lacked a cup holder :( so I decided to make 1 :) will let the pics do the rest....

I used a key code pannel out of a mk1 vts as I wanted to fit it in the centre console near the gear stick.

This car makes me do a sex wee in my pants. I'm looking at a black VTS pretty soon and if mine looks anywhere near as nice as this when I'm done then I will be over the moon. I have to say my favourite mods are the carbon insert and dimma grill, changes the look of the car so much. And the twin fan set up looks awesome through the insert too. Love this car.

Right so in order to fit the wheels the Brembos had to come off :( oh well was fun whilst they where on....

The Schmidts fitted lovely with 20mm spacers on the rear and 5mm on the front.... Enjoy..!!!

Really happy with the stance of it, the stretch tyres are perfect as they bring the tyres in the arch... Love it :)

Gona throw this out there and say this is one of my favourite Saxos on the site, very subtle with some well thought through mods and small changes.

Have you thought about having the new wheels sprayed anthracite? Or even the centres sprayed.

Also think the yellow fogs looked good on here and I don't normally like the yellow fogs.

Yours looks nice but, Not really can see loads of differences lol :)
