Ok I know its not strictly in the right place but Im looking for a quick response so here goes
Does anyone on here know how to or have experience of changing a clutch on a manual 07 Toyota Aygo? A mate of mine is wanting to do this and has a friend that has said he can do it but he's now talking about dropping the engine out as access is a problem - I think hes a little clueless as I understand its only a 3 hour job.
If anyone has info or links to info this would really help :y: sax p'ers never fail usually :A:

am i correct in thinking the aygo is the same underneath as the c1? if so then it's a simple job. i helped my mate do one in a c1 in around about half that time...and i'm no mechanic. the only way i could think of there being an access problem is if he doesn't take the gearbox off :drink:

no haynes. my mate used to be a mechanic at citroen though. we had the car on axle stands and there was definately not a problem with access. the hardest bit about the job was lining the gearbox up when we were putting it back on

Piece of urine gearbox to remove.
If he's contemplating removing the engine to get at the gearbox I wouldn't be taking advise off him
