front splitter question?

been looking at a laguna or cupra splitter for the sax but i was just wondering how are they fitted to the car? probably a simple answer but just want to know as i have an idea id want to do

theres a lot of guides im certain...but basically just bolt them to the splitter already on a vtr i think
