Hi all,
The light behind the climate sliders on the centre console of my car has stopped working and am wanting to find out whether this is a loose connection or the bulb has gone, most likely the latter. To access this area, is it simply a matter of removing the CD player and sleeve or do I have to remove the entire panel?
Any help appreciated :y:

It`ll be easier to remove the complete console.

You need to remove the whole panel then pull the light holder through the gray surround.

Ok thanks, I can only see 1 screw right at the bottom, are there any more? Is it an easy enough job?

There are 5 torx screws. two behind the end two blank plugs where the hazards switch etc is. two more on the same level as the heater controls. (get your head down low and look up) then the final one you have seen. also pull the two heater control pins out. If you get a haynes manual it will show. May be a thread on here have a search!
A replacement bulb is this

Ok Simon, thanks for your help, I shall have a look tomorrow. I guess the blanking plugs simply pop off, then?
