As there have been a lot of people asking this recently i thought i'd put together a quick how to guide.
You need a flat head screw driver or something similar.
Torx screw, T20. Thanks danny-vts
Vents.
Dead easy, prise it out with your flat head.

Centre Console
This is just 5 torx screws.

Two behind the buttons, hazard switches etc. Just prise them out with your flat head again.

Two under the stereo, or where it would go in my case. (Look up)

Then one more at the very bottom. (Again look up)

Once all the screws are out it's simply a case of pulling it out and unclipping all of the wires behind.
To refit do the reverse of the above.

Just a quick question. none of my dials or gauges seem to be working and instead of taking the cluster out just to see if any plugs hanging off, i was wondering if anyone knows if i can get to the back of the cluster from the space once the centre console vents etc removed?
cheers.

After taking off the centre console, are the wires confusing as fuck to remember where to put them back etc? Or is it reasonably straight forward? Cheers

What/how many stages did you go through prepping it for spraying? Including sanding down or whatever? cheers

Sanding, plastic primer as anything else it'll just flake off, paint, laquer.
For wires, label all the wires as you pull them out so you know where to put them back. It's dead easy on the centre console though.

Just take some pictures, its not that hard because tbf the wires are in sections like your center console. For example, the hazards and rear window heater wires are seperate on the top row, then your stereo wires are in the next row which are a peice of piss to take out and put back in and so on.
