My Lupo Gti !!!

Right i though its about time i started a thread so here goes


I had a seat ibiza cupra before the cupra but fancied a change from the 260bhp on tap to something a bit smaller that i wanted to go down the asthetics route.


So a journey to get the car and i ended up with ....

an 04 gti lupo, low mileage, full service history.
running ronal turbos painted black on 195/45/15 tyres
red leather retrim on standard gti seats.


I gave it a cheeky little clean

the paintwork is actually very good. but i wasnt happy with the wheels sooo...

original colour and 165 tyres swapped with my fiance, these were a temp fix until i saved abit of cash


after a looooong choice i decided to go with

bbs rm's
010 and 012 so 2 a bit rarer than usual giving me 8j fronts and 9j rears

the roof lining is going to be changed to something esle but unsure what yet.

After a while of leavign it the way it was i decided to sort out the audio so i sound deadened the doors, rear quarters and boot with silect coat deadedning and new baffles and door cards.
Audio went in


hertz mille mlk 165 comps
pioneer headunit
jl 12w6v2 subwoofer
audison lrx.400 amp
audio system twister amp


that all didnt last long and im chaging that again but i did do some cheeky interior work.

New interior consists of


dashboard trimmed in red leather and custom dial surround diamond stictched with a black trim.
all door cards retrimmed double stitched and designed
lower door cards fibreglassed to house components and trimmed
seats re shaped and refoamed for new look. black centres and red outer with piping.
parcel shelf retrimmed
custom leather floor mats


trim work done at jm grants in birmingham.


Also had a slight colour change on the bbs

New wheels may also be on the cards or these will be slighly changed so they sitting 7.5-8j front and 9.5j rears.

subs - sundown audio sa8v2 x 2 in custom ported box tuned to 35hz
amps - for tweets, dls rm20. for mids, dls rm40, for subs (for now) hifonics 2608d.
Battery - banner running bull
120a alternator
knuconceptz wiring!

should get my airride in the next few weeks!
also going for a change up on my wheels. more to come on those soon.

next on my list is to give the car a silly amount of detialing. engine bay, grease, under car, suspension the lot. then get to work sortign out the engine bay and get a few bits on car resprayed!!

did a big car check yesterday and did a list of all the things i wanted to sort/change/repair.

here it is lol

- Respray front bumper, rear bumper, boot lid plus possible smoothing, baseplates and mirrors, grilles, spolier, interior handles, centre concole, handbrake console, underdash compartments, and air vents.
- straighten roof rails
- fix window wiper linkage
- remove gti badge
- new stickers
- sort dishes on wheels, get barrels repainted diff colour and dishes too. new bolts all round and new tyres and valves.
- fit front camber bolts and rear camber shims.
- re roll arches (not done very well before i owned it), slight pull.
- treat and underseal car inc arches.
- fit air ride
- laser aligment once suspension stuff fitted
- service
- new exhaust (only the tip as i love the sound but want differet style)
- new headlining
- more sound deadening on doors and boot
- silvertec bulbs where possible
- new hid as one on it way out
- fix rear brake light
- sort wiring and alarm (was cut to pieces by someone tryign to steal it)
- custom bonnet bra
- sort out my roof box and custom trim
- custom trimmed mats
- dye carpets black
- intense detail

now after all that im hoping the car will be near enough finished and then it will just be upkeep lol!

sound alot but alot of it shoudl be able to be done myself or mates helping me!

Yes sold the BM back in Feburary time, got a mk4 Golf Turbo but not a fan after driving a silky smooth 6 cylider BM. So it's for sale and I want a BM again :oops:

Your interior is awesome the diamond leather insert compliment the shapes in the wheels and silver / red is a great colour combo.

I see a few euro'd cars where I work... Nothing as good as this. Pure quality in the finish and details! Keep it up

the interior actually wasnt quite how i asked for it to be done when i designed it but it still came out nicely.

its lookign at bit sorry for itsefl at the moment but i am workign on it and will post up pics of everyhtign i sort and the finished results!!!

and cheers, the audio has set me back a fair whack but i love audio and clarity and sq is ofimportance to me so y not spend itont one of the best brands out there
