Hi guys,

I've got some RC6 brake pads for standard 247mm calipers. Just seen that they don't have the metal spring/clasp on two of the pads like my yellow stuffs and standard pads. You know the bit that you push into the inside of the piston.

I'm guessing they are still fine to use without this and I won't run into any problems? Posted in here as I can't be doing with noob replies.

Cheers,
Harv

Afaik if you have the clips on all the pads then you have two setsof inner pads!!!

Only two pads should have the locating clips to go in to the piston

He worded it badly but I think he ment the two pads that are supposed to have them don't?

Personally I wouldnt put pads on that dont match the OE design, but maybe someone with experience with the RC6's can shed some light?!
