Cat Snapped - How Much to Change

My cat snaped last night (due to rusting through the joint), how much is a new cat to get fitted. Its a VTS Mrk 2 with the cat under the car.

Seems a tad expensive the only one on ebay and however much the garage charges to fit it as they are all different. Best bet is to phone around your local garages mate you will get a much better price.

now changed seems to drive a lot better now , could the cat affect the tickover of my car (seems to idle a lot more stabily since its been changed instead of going up a down a fair bit)
