Hi all new to the saxo world after selling my beloved type r for some house saving money ive gone and got myself a 2 tone vts.

I have a brother on the site "rozaladdd" whos recenty bought a 2 tone vtr.

Ive had he 2tone for over a week now first pictures the seller taken.

Started work on it this weekend.

Washed, inside an out interior detailer carpet and seat shampoo. Took the idle vavle off cleaned up and de greased the engine bay.
Also got a bmc cda induction kit in and fitted.

Next on the list new mid section on the ehxaust to connect to the kam racing baxbox thats on as it sounds shoddy and is restricting it, then a full service and a new passenger side drive shaft, also be ordering some wind deflectors tow straps aero blades, basically alot of cosmetics to get it looking tidy as possible. Heres a few pics.

yup i need to change my wheels on mine dont like the black wheels i will be buying some vts wheels to match this ;) good buy though bro its a tidy car for the money

The drop in power is noticable straight away im going to miss the type r but i need a house. I had the type r up to 250bhp before i started stripping it back down. Its now for sale on poston heads £5000.

The saxo is a new chapter and heaper to play with so expect alot :)

Wehey finaly got thw insurance on the motor today first stop will be the garage for a full service and a new driveshaft

First day in the road already got some problems.

Driveshaft definatly needs replacing.
Driver side rear caliper sticking (not diagnosed yet)
Not idling properly.

So i called up the man to get all this fixed and a full service sorted to get it running nicely.

All this costing me £180 BARGAIN !!

Got a new amp on order to go with my jbl sub i nbought of this site and then im well away.

cheers all just a little update to whats been done since i bought it a few weeks back.

Went to the garage had wheel bearing replaced 2 top mounts, new rear pads, sticky caliper fixed, idle problem fixed, and worked out that the compbrake quick shift needed a grub screw.

So on order and awaiting delivery at the moment is.

Update! decided to tidy up my calipers but rain has stopped me half way through.

Ill probably have to sand it down slightly when it fully dries again few rough parts.

Decides to sand my rear toe hook down possibly do that red too but might just go for black keep it tidy

also if anyone is intrested im not to keen in 106 gti leathers but they came with the car and im more than likely going to track slag this vts at some point, if anyone wants to swap buckets recliners or what evers on offer let me know.

Waxoyling is a pretty grubby job. I find the stuff in the spray cans easier, less mess

Thinking of selling up and buying a motorbike only had it a few months its been fun but i want something even cheaper to run as i sont really use it at all. Nothing wrong with it all the niggly problems when i bought it have been fixed.

A full magnex exhaust with de cat has been fitted.

Possibly going to sell for £1250.

It was £650 but came with 6 months tax so i paid £800 ish. Exhaust was dodgy top mounts needed doing wheel bearing done. Also new rear pads. All the other stuff is in my thread.

Ill get back to you on the mot tax miles etc im out atm.

Oil light is probs on because the engine isn't running and there will be no oil pressure.

Yeh oil light is on because the engines not on just electrics try it in ur own car....

Pretty sure its got about 9 months mot will find that out tonight
