okay, so i know i may get alot of haters for this, but i just wanted to see what you guys thought ^^

I'm thinking of doing my furio matte black... myself... with a roller :homme:

I know this probably seems like a stupid idea  but I've heard of people doing it and turning out pretty good... and as a bonus if you ever get a scratch or anything you can just go over it yourself with the leftover paint :)

The only other options i can think of is to get a proper paintjob (which is a little out of my budget atm :( ) or to get a vinyl wrap.

What do you think? I'm open to suggestions :)

Chalkboard paint from toolstation costs £8, you'll need two tins, and will have to do around 3 coats to get a good finish. Rollering it on is fine as long as you can do it evenly. I have pics of two friends saxos' that have been rollered if you are interested :y:

is it possible to spray chalkboard paint or does it need to be rollered? sounds a wicked and cheap way of doing it great tip :)

I reckon it will look nice if it turns out well, you planning on changing the colour of the wheels as well? because sometimes you see matte black cars and they've been done well but they don't look right, it's a bit risky and if it turns out wrong then you can always take it for for a spray at a body shop :)

Matte black that sounds like it will look awesome :) as for the roller would some of the angles not be difficult to roller i understand for flat surfaces with bumps not contours maybe get hold of a wing and give it a go on that you then have nothing to loose and you can see how it goes on the shape if you see what i mean.

Definately would love to see some pics though :)

Tbh though I'm doing my car up for myself, not to impress people if I ever do decide to sell it :) and I thought the whole point of this website is for people to share what they are doing with theirs cars and help and advice etc. so how boring would it be if everyone just had standard same old saxos, believe me.... I've seen what the seat ibiza forums are like :p
