I've just seen a vauxhall astra for sale mk4 1.8 16v sport just for a laugh I got a quote from a company. It works out just over £150 more than my saxo thats fully comp as well when my saxos only TPFT is that because insurance companies see saxo's as boy racer cars??

yes i think so its similar with the 106GTI and a VTS the insurance is cheaper on a GTI even though its pretty much the same!

yeah and a lot get written off thats how i think they get hi insurance groups but i could be wrong like any small cars aimed at young drivers put it this way i had been driving a year and got a 1.8 16v vectra and i hadnt even been driving a year and i got it at 900 ish pounds before that i had a 1.1 punto which i got after passing my test and had at a few months
