Kris' Ice Grey Vtr Progress Thread

Hi guy and girls

Me and my Vtr been on here a few months now but have only just got round to starting a thread. Quite a lot has changed since i got the car!

So here's how to car was stood when i got it:

looked a bit rough and needed some tlc!

but after a few months it now looks like this:

Rather a big transformation imo!

This is whats been done so far:


Smoothed wide mouth front bumper
Completely smoothed boot
Number plate dropped to the rear bumper and lower section on the bumper done in black
Borbed A's
Lowered 50mm on the front and 45mm on the rear
106 Gti morrors
fibre glass bonnet (will be going back to standard)


and here what other plans i have for it:


gloss black roof
lower the font more
Interior
Give the engine bay a good tidy and get parts powder coated
Black back headlight or angel lights..cant decide


there was more but cant remember what they are atm :geek:

As I've already said, looks very nice man! Once the standard bonnet+grill is on and the fronts lower I'll have a lot of love for this. :)

Edit: And the wind deflectors look good ;)

IMO ... i'd get a normal bonnet/grill and smoke the headlights!

So it been a busy day for me today. Fitted a 4-2-1 super sprint mani :) was not the easiest job! Took me about 3 hour but was well worth the struggle.

Cheers mate. Can't put another grill on mate as there's no fixing points because it's a fibre glass bonnet but I'm going to spray it black

the toe hole thats on the right of the bumper has been smoothed and the bit above the number plate is the number plate lights

Received my single wiper and new pressed number plates today :) did think the wiper would of been as fiddlley as it was.

So I decided to spray the back of headlight and my front grill. Lights went well apart from when it came to putting the driver side one back to heather and to glue decided to spread :(

Yh with the Mani it sound nicer and get a d pulls better through the revs

Single wiper took me about an hour to do, but fiddley but not that hard

Not an update for the sax but Iv just got my self this :) 328i bmw, bought it off my dad so I no its all good. Been Lowered about 30mm all round, alpina body kit, tinted windows...which need re doing and and its had some small engine work.

The back of the car looks so sick, not sure what going on with your grille. Its ruining the car for me imo. Still its your car so...

But yeah love the rear bumper &smooth boot.
