Looks like awesome fun but i'll be honest, the camera is just to far back. Can't really see much.
Good luck in the future though

This may seem like a dumb question, but why is it called "Saloons" when you're all driving Hatchbacks?

No idea? haha series started a while back and i assume saloons were more common back then?

Fair enough, just when I read "Saloons" I was expecting just that lol

Whens the next race? I need to come down and watch this series again.
I used to come to most of them last year as I knew Will Burns who ran a fiesta.
And my mate ran his pit work for him.
I'll bring my camera next time Im coming to watch.

I havent got a video camera, but If I can get the day off work, Im away all weekend on holiday. Then I'll post them up on here for you.
Is the fiesta still running? I know Will moved on to Ginettas this year, but not sure if he sold the car or not.

Looks good mate, If you dont mind me asking, how much does it cost to race there?
And do you have any sponsors or is it all out of your own pocket?

Its not the cheapest mate! entry fee's are around £230 per race car you can spend as much as you like ive spent 3k and the car is nowhere near finished and certaintly isnt competitive in its class but its a starting point. its all out of my own pocket sponsorship is ner enough impossible to come by most stickers are for favors and parts rather than money :)
Awsome mate, I can imagine I'd be proper shitting it but I don't know why lol
Cool.

I'm glad it went well for you Paul, no doubt you've got the bug now!
Will Burns did his first season with my ex Jason Cooper 1400, but the engine he ran last year was built mostly from my components by another builder and was "mapped" (I use the term very loosely) initially by Interpro (later brought to me to clean up). I only point that out because it didn't run at all like one of mine! Will drove it very well and had it not been for the reliability, I'm sure he could have pushed for the championship.

I can vouch for the unreliability Sandy. Pretty much every race I came to he had an issue or it was in bits. Doesnt help when the timings get changed and the cars in bits lol.
I saw it when Jas had it aswell, bloody quick car!

Oh apologies Sandy! i had only seen jason's build thread where it said his 1400 had been sold to will burns so assumed it wouldnt be fettled with. It is great fun, recommended only to those who would like to give up girlfriends and social lives haha My car is a vtr 1600 with a ported and polished head and kent cam. also obviously a manifold a straight through system. Very slow haha but i am looking at getting a 16v VTS and building it for 2013 but all depends on funds :)
