my gf's have never cared however when i first got a car i was only like 17/18 she was 16 so wasnt really in a position to be tellign me what i should be spending my money on but i was skint anyway i mainly modded mine before i could drive and spent all ym money on fuel going to see her!
then i went 3 years with out a gf as i was at uni
4th year of uni i got a gf was with her for a year she liked my cars but got pissed off when i wanted to do something to it while i was with her (which was allt he fucking time) got shot of her now im all alone again and able to do what ever i like with my car

Probably not always, but we've been together 3 1/2 years so obviously it's not destroying us! To be honest I love the fact that he likes cars too; we spend a lot of time together working on them together, and it's never felt like a competition; we've got quite different styles :)

I think it also helps I'm pretty good with money; I'm not likely to go mad, I do to the car what I can justifiably afford!

He's not as into them as he used to be, as he's basically finished buiding his track teg, and putting it back together again after his bump. but he's always the first person I go to for opinions etc. Plus, he's a Honda Tech so his opinions are pretty valid.
