key stuck

does anyone know how i can get this key out? should it be turned so the back bits line up or should the be spread out? a remember i asked before, an was told to push tabs in an pull but am unsure what ones.

get a screwdriver in the gap between the two white bits on the outer edge. think you only have to prise it apart by about a milimeter and you can then remove the key (thats how i did mine), if that fails and your replacing the fuel cap then just get another key cut

i just squeezed the tabs at the bottom together as hard as i could untill the key was released
