I'm really liking it if I'm honest. Always thought you had to be a bit of a batty boy to drive one until I saw a few lowered ones. I reckon the CHs set it off perfectly and it's just missing a chrome roof rack

My mum has a convertable one, They all come with the little vase and flower as standard. So they pretty much stopped men from buying them haha! There is a really nice one in my area though been lowered and big rims etc looks really good

Having the 20vT lump it should be easy enough to tweak that to about 260bhp which should be plenty for a bug :D

Theres a black one around here that got the vw racing kit on it. Quite nice but makes it look like a proper jelly mould car!!

That red one looks sweet! Bang some flower vinyl down the side and a powered by fairy dust sticker!!

An old tutor/friend called Graham has a black beetle from Nottingham, not sure of its a 1.8T, I think if I re call it is.. Very very smart! He's a big Vag nut.. Has a new shape TT that's modified and a mk2 golf etc etc..
All very nice cars!

I think ive seen that in the toton/a52 area once or twice? If its the same one it was mega clean and had soem ncie wheels on it?

Anyone sat in/driven one? I seem to remember the dashboard being about 3ft deep then the bonnet. put me off straight away

yeah, there is basically a table infront of the steering wheel. The dashboard is huge which makes you feel too far back, its so big there is room for the huge pollen filter inside the dashboard top :homme:

Which car have you seen? :-P but yeah.. He's a cool guy I guess really.. Very caring of his cars!
Started something like gti16valve owners on the net too with some friends etc!
Is really smart.. He tends to go for the OEM+ look with subtle BBS and some nice lows etc..
