My first session of this year will take place tomorrow in sunny trecco bay, porthcawl.
Cannot wait to hit the water, after months away from it

I get over to Tynemouth a few times each summer. I don't get out as often as I'd like to. I used to work in the Vende, in France and it was great there, I'd be out nearly ever day, I lived and worked a 3 minute walk away from the beach.

I've been a few times but don't live near the coast to go all the time.

Had a session yesterday ended up having an hour without a wet suit it was so hot, surf board smashed my knee and that was game over for me aha
I feel like I've become better since last year though
Had some mega fast runs across the waves :)

ill be hitting the shores of newquay on bank hol weekend :D fistral beach is the usual spot we get to. just need to find a roof rack for the clio, not ratchet strapping the board to the roof like i did with the saxo haha

Aha porthcawl rest bay is pretty clean, just very rocky, their just everywhere
My cousin took me to a beach in Swansea last year was very nice, pretty private also, im sure it was just 4 people there the whole day, nothing worse than fighting over a wave

its absolutely immense pal. huge beach, no issues with the rocks unless you go way out wide. defo one to add to the list if youve not been

I used to surf twice a day when I lived in Bude. Not been in the water for ages and with us not looking like we'll be moving anywhere fast for a few more years, It's something I miss loads. One day I will move back. I WILL!!!

Not been in weeks, the good spots here have been poor recently and the swell hasn't been over a metre, plus it's whale season, gonna go down to Melbourne way in a couple of weeks and see what it's like for the weekend on the great ocean road.

Surfs been awesome down here all week, shame I've been on exercise in scotland though !

Went last night and it was turd, going tomorrow as it's looking alot better.

Love living 10 minutes away from one of the best spots on the south coast.
