Mazda made them to be 'The poor mans ferrari'. They werent quite there. Pretty nippy but you need to have a qualification in haridressing or they wont let you drive it away.

Realistically, imo they havent aged well and they only look good after serious money has gone into them.

If you get a VTS at 17 you will be payin twice the cars worth in insurance lol. Just make do with the 1.4 for a while and then upgrade later. Its a waste of money otherwise.

There not that bad cars, they do handle well and can be quite nice if modified nicely.

There nice, but the bodywork has no appeal.. The saxo looks sporty because of the arches and bodywork on it.. The MX5 dosent seam to have that appeal in my eyes. A nice subtle bodykit on it would soon sort it out.

Edit: im only talking about the front and sides. I love the back of them.

I've always liked Mx5's, but after checkin out the feature in Fast Car bout em this months, I have a new respect for em lol.
