Thought I would share with you the story of how I come to own my Furio. One of my best friends girlfriend bought the car brand new in 2002. They also had a Honda Civic. About 2 years ago my friend decided he wanted a new car, so he bought a new Honda Civic but still kept hold of the Saxo and the older Civic. The Saxo was just left on his drive as he didn't use it any more.

A little while later he was given a company car, this meaning there were 4 cars at his house. My mate rang me up as he knew I was looking for a car (i had just sold mine) and offered me the Saxo for FREE as long as I paid to get it back on the road.

Me and my brother in law went to fetch it with his trailer and it went straight in the garage. It cost me £500 to get it back on the road, including tax and MOT.

It's 02 plate, it had done 77k and the only thing I've done to it since getting it was paint the front chevrons white. Oh and the rear wiper has just broke so I can't decide if i should replace it or remove it all together.

Remove the rear wiper as it saves on replacing and looks better, there is a grommit to fit it under the carpet in the boot towards the rear seats

Cheers. I don't particularly intend to do much to it. Only future things I've thought about is painting rear badges white, maybe replace wing mirrors for colour coded ones, it's only got standard head unit and speakers so that needs sorting and eventually I want the alloys refurbishing and maybe have them white?

Also if you notice on the top picture, the rear wheel arch panel has a bleb in it, it's like a dent but it's actually outwards, as if theres a football stuck behind the panel or so i'm going to replace that.
