Anyone gonna do it?
They will reduce your premium by 40% if you promise not to use your car between 23h00 and 06h00 - this is tracked by some gizmo in the car....
Worth it for some, but I like night driving!

I hardly use my car between those times, wonder how much it would be. Is that with Norwich Union?

its a bloody ripp off was reading up on it earlier they charge you £1 a mile after 11pm so if i went to my gf's and back it would cost me £50 in 1 trip thats appauling. I only pay £70 for the month how can they say this is going to save anybody money

not my cuppa to be honest. I looked into it earlier but it'd be so limiting for when i'm charging my mates for 'adsayers taxi service' when they come out of club.

It goes against the point of having a car if you cant use it when you want or need to.

if i go out on the town i drive, or if at gfs or mates, so its pointless, altho some people it could work well but with insurance at 440 renewal time i cant really complain

i wouldent have it for the fact that what if something happens in the night and u need to drive? or you start work on an early shift say 5am..... your not insured so for what its worht if you get caught, i would rather just go for normal insurace

My plan next year was to get a right old banger and insure it in my name and never drive it. Well this is even better now because of that extra 40% off!
The car is going to be so crap that tbh i wouldnt want to take it out in the day incase i get seen!

Its quite a good idea and will save some a lot of money but after 11 is a good time for driving, hence why theres probs a load of accidents after then

its good for people who wont use it at night, but crap for most people
good idea and im glad there targeting young drivers which will lead to increased competition and lower prices for us hopefully

There will be a way around it, but not that way.
If i took out that policy i would have a fiddle with it, but i dont want to, would be to expensive.

Tbh - I know where most people are coming from with the "i want to use my car when i want" speech, its all good. But It's something really REALLY big for people, like myself, who are only 17... where it is costing me nearly £1700 to get insured on a furio.
Has anyone got a link of some sort, and has it actually been enforced.. and by whom?

Well - It's actually quite shit!.. As I phoned up today and apparantly, you have to be at least 18 to be covered by them. Sucks

Even if you could disable the box or whatever and you went out after 11pm and had a prang...what would Mr Insurance Man say then? lol
