How do you snap the towing eye? Are you not pulling it square on? What distance are you getting before it brakes? I just find it odd?
you understand the towing procedure right?
If this sounds shitty its not meant to be, just the way it looks not trying to be a twat or anything lol!

Open the front windows and tie a rope around the windscreen. A-pillars will keep it solid!:y:

That's not going to snap it though.

Sax-p answer: Have you tried asking it nicely?

corrected..come on alex :n:

nah pulling requires a rope and a tow eye still
eliphant puts its head on the bootlid and pushes requires a bamboo whip and an elipant its much easier and cheaper

if he turns it in the wrong way a little bit..... then tries to tow it out i bet the thread would snap...

i read his second post..from that i gather its not actually snapping the tow eye ;)

if it is..he shouldnt contradict himself

It wouldn't go in at all though so wouldn't be able to even attempt to tow it.

im not trying..im just replying to what's posted..they are tapered though..so would go in a little then maybe catch on the threads going the wrong way

before stripping them...which was my initial angle :y: (snaps threads)

They can become quite hard to put in keep turning until its all the way in. Basically put a spanner through the hole and make sure its done up very tight. It will be fine i've been towed about places. Use an elastic tow rope if possible rather than giving it a quick shunt.

cheers mate
i used a bar to spin in fully in place. it was pretty tight going in but it was when i used the bar to spin it the thread snapped :( not sure if the tightness was due to where it has been painted a while back and its clogged it up but still it shoudnt snap tho :(

just lift the front end up and loop a tow rope around the wishbones pull it slowly and have people pushing it aswell to keep the pressure on the wishbnes moderate

If you're really stuck you could take the front bumper off and get two tow ropes round the two front chassis legs maybe
