Anyone know of people/companies who offer plastic welding? I want to get my front and rear bumpers smoothed properly.
I live in the south :)
Thanks.

I do but I am miles away from you. Do it yourself and use the fuzor plastic weld epoxy kit you sand the areas to bare plastic with 80 grit and use the epoxy it bonds in 5 mins and once fully cured after 24 hours it's stronger than the plastic.

Bedford, where about would you get the correct equipment to do this, ive tried googling what youve suggested.....
also would it be worth practising or is it pretty simple and easy to do?

Depends what sort you want to do. 2 sorts of plastic weld.
One is the 2 pack epoxy FUZOR that you basically rub both down and use the epoxy half a inch either side of the weld.
The other is the hot melt where you use a specialist heat gun to melt the plastic then use the filler rod to fill to weld 2 together. my set up cost my old work over £300 and I just "borrowed it".forever.
The cheapest is the epoxy its about £90 for the set up and then a quid for a new nozzle and about £20 for the 2 part tubes.

The above link is for the usa but paint suppliers such as brown brothers and supertune have stock in the uk.
The hot melt you really need to practice as its more like tig welding with a heat gun the epoxy is piss easy and any one can do it.(ed china on wheeler dealers has used it so it must be simple.)
