Hi all
Some may say at 35 (in July) im too old for a Saxo VTR but i say your never too old to have fun.
I picked up my 1st VTR, a 51 plate, yesterday for the sum of £200 from a friend who doesn't want it any more due to traveling and it sitting for a long time.
Its a bit ropey but with a bit of TLC its got potential.
Minor things i can see are lots of loose trim and the odd dent, it well used.
Any way, i hope to use it as a daily (fun) driver until my VW Camper and Audi turbo are finished, then i turn it into a track car which is something Ive wanted to do for years, with the possibility of an engine swap, to what i dont know, hoping you guys can help me there.

Hi dude
Just fit a new accumulator for the brake system and refit the new headlining really. Then get it detailed.
Ive spent a fortune on this Audi:
Ive had the tappets
cambelt
idle roller
water pump
aux belts
oil and filter
new brake carriers
Calipers all 4
Discs all 4
Pads all round
Copper pipe both sides
Brake hoses both sides front back
master cylinder
new fluids
Managed to fix the break in the loom so now have fully working rear lights

If you look enough on ebay cars do come up cheap if your prepared to buy something that needs work if your on a budget, i find it better cause you get involved and get to know the car well, also you know whats been done/repaired to it. :y:
