I've got a Snooper now and just wondering what was the best way to hard wire it? I'm presuming make it come out the top of the console and crimp it to the back of the ciggy lighter but any better ideas?

that is the professional way it is done,if you dont want to take your cigarette lighter apart you can get a sat nav hardwire kit form halfords for 5 quid and use that.

Number of times I've had that console out I've mastered it now LOL....crimped to the cables on the back, confused me as to why there were 3 cables and the Haynes manuel didn't tell me wire to multimetered it.
Got it all working but really wanted the wire to come out closer to the windscreen. Is it possible to get it coming out of the windscreen heater vent somehow? I tried to reach through it but no luck due to its angle.
