brake lights an the law

if you were tinting the rear lights would it matter how dark it was over the brake lights, as the saxo has the 3rd brake light wich you still be clear or does this not matter?

doesnt matter, u would still see the light when u break anyway. cant spray over the reflector though.

ive dun mine, when i had my fiesta i did them dark dark black n i got dun for them coz you couldnt see the reflector but part from that i think u can have them as dark as u want aslong as the reflector is clear.

could you get away with spraying all the light an fitting a small reflector somewere else? does it have to be a certain size?

yeh thats what most people do, you'll be ok with that. dunno about the size though, cant be too small though obviously.

if you put on a nee reflector it has to be in a certain position, a certain distance up from the bottom of the bumper, i think !
