Hi guys in the middle of fitting a falcon boot popper and my intention to wire it to the rear wiper harness so that when i want to unlock my boot the stalk that used to do the rear wiper will activate and pop the boot but unsure of what wires to what. as its in the saxo haynes mod book but dont trust it. Here are all the pics that should help you solve this one.

Thanks for the link funny enough its the exact same boot popper brand and setup however he is wiring to a switch and i want to go off the rear wiper stalk. but dont completely agree with the haynes manual as what you cut at the boot end will be the same at the steering column.

The wiring to the switch should be easy mate, because all you do is get someone to operate the washer stalk whilst you check for a switched live feed on the plug in the boot(with a test light screwdriver)Then just plug into the correct terminal on that plug & run your earth wire to the bootlid.
