Sammboi . Wicked Red Saxo VTR

Hi im new to this forum and i thought that i would add a project thread. Just bought this VTR. Im pleased with it very clean motor for a 12 year old car and runs nicely :)
Has some small mods on it like:
Powerflow cat back system
lowered 40mm at front
top strut
VTS Wheels
Sprayed headlights

I have plans for it in the future heres some pics. give me your thoughts. thanks!

Inside the lights have been sprayed same colour as car.

I have lots of different ideas and plans for the car these are some of the ideas:

- Coilovers
- Decat and Better manifold and downpipe
- Maybe a 1.1 Gearbox???
- Forced Induction Kit
- Lower Strut
- Wheels sprayed in anthracite

I would love carbon bonnet aswell anyone know where i can get them for good prices. or if anyone is selling one let me know.

veryy nice looking car! love how the lights are tinted red not black as per normal....possibly a set of tinted rear lights, i've got a set spare if your thinking about wanting some.

thanks bud. Yer iv haven't seen any front lights like that before. i had to split the glass of the front of the light to spray inside. I think Im gonna try and keep the car looking relatively standard. Im saving up for GAZ coil overs at the moment that will be the first thing il do :P.

i wouldnt bother with a lower strut brace sam, mine was only 40mm down and used to clip on everything, if you want one ive got it in my room to throw on the see what you think

Just Came back from Santa Pod Was A DWYB Drove the Saxo up there taking wheels. Managed to fit 10 wheels in the sax!!!!!

I havent been on this in a while so i thought that i would update what i have done to my car in the past months.

i have achieved a fair bit doing bits and bobs.
i now have a full exhaust system:
4 2 1 manifold to decat to powerflow centre and backbox.
yellow fogs
all citroen badges black
sprayed rocker cover (tidy up engine bay)
pipercross airfilter and pipework.
Oil catch tank
bonnet spacers
and recently bought some new wheels for it as fancied a change and the VTS wheels needed new tyres so was best tikme to change.

What colour paint you use and where you get it for the rocker covers i have done my vts cam covers but halfords heat temp paint come out abit orange and its the only red heat temp paint i can find i want wicked red to match car?

I used zinc primer then used wicked red paint from halfords.. dont worry bout heat temp paint. My mate does bodywrkand said normal paint is fine and semms all good atm. I applied thin layers each time snd put yins in a bowl of hot water before sprayingmake the paint warm so applies thinner takes longer to finish as u use more coats but comes out alot better. Then wait to dry wet and dry paint down and i laquered it. Takes a while to paint but comes out good.
