It won't go in 2nd and 5th it's rubbing the exhaust flang
Any ideas how to stop this?

what exhaust is it? have you changed the exhaust or did it just start doing it?

It piper and it never use to do it I put a vts lump in and put the linkages on now it's hitting the exhaust flang
( URGENTLY NEED TO SORT THIS )

Usually happens if the manifold is sitting too far to the right. What manifold you got? Is the mani-exhaust bracket free to spin or foxed in one place? Some you can just spin it round to get it out of the way..

It's sittin to close to the left if ur look through the engine bay and it's a standard no cat Mani. I think it's fix in place it's close to the lower engine mount aswell

have you got the lower engine mount on the right way? just an idea

As above. Unless you are unlucky and have a cheap 4-2-1 which doesnt sit in the same position as standard

i had that trouble, ended up bending the manifold down and out of the way

jacked the car up, unbolted the exhaust, get one foot on the lower strut brace and pull the manifold towards the front of the car. bit of a pikey way to do it but it did the job for me, i couldnt get 2nd, 4th or reverse at all before but now its spot on
