Hi, new member tried searching for a similar problem but could find a thread to answer my query.
Bought a MK2 VTR 2001 had the inbetween sort of interior with green and red lines looks awful. Anyway it had seen better days so bought black interior with grey squares and the colored triangles.

Fitted the carpet, door cards and seats, but the drivers door card is hitting the seat, also feels like the seats not level. Passenger side is fine. Checked the carpet isnt lifting the runners but still no difference had the seat in and out several times now. Anyone else had this problem?

does it adjust freely?

Yea it slides backwards and forwards just fine when the door is open. Would maybe taking the runner's off my old drivers seat work? Luckily I havn't taken them to the tip yet.

Swap the rails over :A:

What part of the door card is touching the seat?
I'm not trying to bodge your car, but if its a simple case of it not fitting back.
Could you not put the door card on first?
Of course if there is a spacing issue, something else is at play.
Just trying to broaden the scope of what could be wrong

You made sure all the clips on the door card are pushed fully in to the door. Iv had this happen to me and it was due to the main mid 2 not pushed in alllllll the way

Have you hooked the doorcard back over the window channel properly?
