Does anyone have a picture of a carbon fibre wrapped spoiler? Thinking of doing it but not sure whether it would look good or not

I think thats the point lol, if you cant afford to get the real stuff or do a proper job then dont get fake! IMO its cringe worthy seeing fake cheap stuff!

I removed the sunroof and rain gutters.. then it is more or less one big area to vinyl! :y:

Then cut out the hole for the sunroof.. poped the sunroof back in and then tucked the vinyl under the rain gutters! :y:

Have you fully wrapped the spoiler or just stoped where you cant see ?

If removing the sunroof its much easier, make sure you get it going on straight if you dont ule have a bitch keep heating it up. When i first started doing them i had that problem but still all of them came out perfect.

I did manage to do it with the bit on the door between the 2 windows an that wasn't too difficult, so Ur just saying put it on bit by bit and make sure it's all straight with no imperfections and if I do get them
Just heat it up? Also do u cut out the sunroof hole after it's been layer down?

I should realy do a video on this but then i would be loosing out on buisness lol, but here it goes.

1 - Lay vinyl across the roof
2 - Masking tape half way across the vinyl down to the middle of the 2side windows
3 - Peel back sticky bit to the masking tape then rip off
4 - apply vinyl slowly and bit by bit
5 - then do the same the other side

Also what wrap are you using, I'm guessing there will be good and bad quality ones

No problem, theres loads on ebay you can get the cheap stuff for around 15-30quid and for a roof job its perfect, but you can never get better than 3M
but thats around £80 for 1m x 1.5m so pricey

probably go for the cheaper stuff then if its good enough to get the job done. defiantly going to attempt it in the next few weeks

The hexis carbon wrap is slightly cheaper and just as good as the 3m stuff.

carbon effect is probably the easiest to lay on a flat surface due to the thickness making it much harder to bubble.
