im looking around for a petrol remote control car but dont know a great deal about them. i have been told that hpi's are good for beginners. so was looking onebay and come across a pair with all the spares that are needed and that. apparently only one has ever been run the other hasent even been started. i asked the person how much they would take for buy it now and they said offer a price and they will consider how much would you offer. heres the linkhttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-HPI-RS4-RTR-3-EVOs-BRAND-NEW-not-tamiya_W0QQitemZ260017286281QQihZ016QQcategoryZ191 68QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Something like that would retail for about £200 so i'd offer him about £140 for the unused one

ok well he wants to sell as a pair and he says costs around 440 to by new. so i was thinking about 300 for the pair and the spares. but i dont want too look stupid and insult them with a lousy offer. but then you should start low and work your way up to get it cheap i suppose

it dont matter where you start really as long as you use a big open space to begin with just to get the feel of it. Try a supermarket carpark after its closed for the night or something like that.

yeah i was thinking a car park or a school play ground or something. like you say an empty one though lol

i was going to say about a team accociated tc3 team they handle really well and they are about 200 in the kit form but the you have to but the radio and bodyshell seperate.i have got one and its tuned so i can get the most possible speed i can get out of it.it would walk all over a nitro car.

or you could get a schumacher nitro fusion they do 80mph out of the box.

my old mate used to have one that was clocked with a police speed gun doing 117mph and that just had a tuned exhaust,
we used to run them on the old runway at blackbush airport in surrey and my mate forgot to put the airial up thought the bodyshell and it went wizzing up the runway and i have turned round to him because i heard him say oh shit,it had only lost the signal and when up the road on full throtle i just remember seeing him legging it after it for about 100yards as it went onto the grass and stoped.as you can imagine it was well funny
