Swapped my minter of a cherry red gti for this tonight, really needed a diesel as the evo doesnt even taste the petrol it uses... ;)

Got a few months mot and 10 months tax
Full VW service history
Really clean interior
really clean engine bay thats full of plastic haha

Its a 100bhp model which surprisingly stills pulls no bad, needs a windscreen and has a bit of a dent on the passenger arch but its not majorly noticable.


Plans:

debadged grill
lower more on the front maybe the rear
smoke the headlights and side repeaters
refurb alloys in an anthracite
give car a fuckin good polish as its been neglected badly
change the 10k hids for 6ks

Future plans will be tint all windows and maybe change alloys for bbs something or other...

Remap should defo be hapning.

It is low lol must be a bad pic or something man, its meant to be 100mm at rear and 80mm at the fron, its going down more at the front if it can, gonna check the state of the coilies this week at some point. Tints will maybe happen in a few months once TRAX is out the way...

Keep the mudflaps, you find loads of people after the originals.

Your rear lights are the "low spec" ones as they are known lol.

GTi ones have black indicators not orange. How ever US Spec rear lights mean they are white.

They're the Rear Lenses. Just OEM smoked/tinted whatever you want to call it.

I've no idea on what other big lips there are tbh. Must be loads about though I'd have thought.

I honestly prefer the lights that are on it, defo smoking the front lights tho, they are rancid in chrome, smoke the side repeaters too.


Gave her a major clean today and a quick polish, not gonna lie, there is fuck loads of stone chips. Done around 75 mile and used roughly 1/8th of the tank haha fuckin awesome....

If it stays dry tomorrow, Im doing the wheels, toss a coin between gloss black and anthracite

Well over 50mpg its awesome, used just shy of a 1/4 tank since I got it and it's done 176 miles.

20quid was put in basically the minute the red light came on, ive done 172 mile and its still not back on. Thinkin over 600 out a tank easily since its a 60 litre tank
