Found this ashley backbox keen on getting one as iv heard good stuff about them what im concerned about is i dont know if this is for aphase 2 vtr and be a direct fit or is it going to need either made to fit ont he the centre section or will i need to get adifffrent centre section or something which i dont wanna do because iv just fitted a new centre section thatts got no scilencer as its from a 1.4 furio this is the exhaust here

that link is to a generic supersprint back box not an ashley saxo box lol

but to answer your question a back box made for a saxo will fit any saxo as long as its not something like a saxsport or magnex where they are designed to only fit to there matching center pipes

Okay so this ashley backbox should be a direct fit yes ? and not need a matching center section,
yeah iv seen on some threads about people getting those ones and not fitting and having to go get center sections

I have this but mine is all stainless, mines on a 1.4furio so no silencer.

Purs nicely at idle
1.5-3k revs sounds quite but deep
3-4k revs "The Sweetspot" sounds amazing
4-6.5k revs deep and loud but not bad on the motorway

yeah thats exactly what im going for mate at first i was looking at sportex but i wasnt sureon them i came across ashley box looked them up on youtube thought they sounded sweet alright probably better in person tho r they? thats what sorta sound im going for :D.

so did this fit directly to your standard furio centre section its a furio center have on my vtr i think to get rid of the silencer lol

It fitted directly on but was blowing badly and also burnt a new hole on the bottom of my bumper, went to a garage got them to heat up the center section and reposition it and now its perfect. duno if you can see in this picture where it burnt the second hole/arch

Ah right u think if i got one it would blow? nope cant really see but i can see where ur on about tho looks good tho im wanting to go for 3inch rolled out wud prefer 2inch

where did u purchase yours from i just went ont he actual ashleys website for a look

All depends mine was second hand so maybe the pipe has been bent before, but it shouldnt blow with some sealent put in.

got mine for sale soon need a lil clean up but all good pm me if your interested.
and yes will fit fine and never had a problem with mine blowing or being in a crap position

alright cool well im looking to buy it new tho but thanks anyway :) shall gwt my self sorted with one of these soon :)
