My 5 door wicked red saxo

Okay so bought is with 72,000 miles on the clock last year for my first car and this is what is was like when i got it...

Pretty clean with nothing wrong at all :)

I then beagn to do all the basic mods like head unit, sound system, 6x9's

Then got myself some vtr alloys from a breakers for fairly cheap and two new tyres with them for £100

I then decided to spray them black as i went for the red and black theme

t cut rear badges and added smoked rear lights

I then sprayed the chevrons red to match the car and got a black grill

bit geeky and anal of me here but in the first set of pics you have a standard black grille and i was gonna say all desires came with colour coded grilles but then you have a colour coded one in the last set of pics and youve got a forte rear bumper, has it been in a crash at some point?

car is looking good really need to smoke the headligths and fogs though to carry on the theme

yeah mate long story lol, i had smack didnt claim in the end coz the geezer gave me 300 quid there and then at 5 in the morning, couldnt find color coded rear bumper which is doing my nut in atm so had to stick with a forte one which was 25 quid in the end, bbut wiv the grill i sold my other one to a mate and put the standard back on, but definatly want to smoke the headlights out etc :)

Also i dont wanna do nothing major to this as hopefully moving up and getting a quick sax in october, so grill headlights stuff like that il do but not gonna bother with anything that i couldnt put on the other car

yea i understand, i did my headlights when i got an afternoon off work gave me somethign to do while the weather was crap lol all you need is a can of matt black and some sand paper, my housemate went all otu and got primer, gloss black and lacquer but tbf i think its an overkill the painted insert is inside the headlight so it cant really peel just depends how anal you are!

Decided to finally paint my centre console today since the weathers been good :clapping:

Screws all out+ head unit taken out to make things easier...

I've got the same car in blue ( 4 door ).

I dislike them vtr alloys, look too small. Should of gone with some VTS alloys and sprayed them black, then slam it. Will look 10 times nicer :y:

yeah i do prefer vts ones just couldnt get some at the time and vtr's were going cheap but definatly need to lower it at some point :)

I wouldn't reccomend any coilovers other than gaz, but they're a bit overkill for your needs imo.
I'd just go for some 60mm springs and uprated dampers.
