My boot just flipped open on the motorway. About 50 miles into my treck to work it just popped open. This happened to anyone else? Fortunately I didn't loose anything out the back!

if it is delocked the solenoid could be playing up but if not....its a mystery

Nope, its dewipered. I think it may have something to do with a mystery dent that has appeared in it and it being too full of stuff. Worrying though

you dont want to leave it parked up then the boot just opens itself

My bonnet started to come open once after my front bumper fell of last month... gave me the shits for weeks afterwards.

I'm a touch worried as she's off to the ring on thursday. Fuck the boot flipping open as I'm going through Whipperman!

if u had a dog in the back for some strange reason i think it would be a road kill by now

mine flew open on the motorway on the way to the sax-p xmas weekender. Absolutely shit me up, but luckily i was right by a slip road & managed to get it sorted.

Think mine was a case of the boot being caught on the latch but not properly closed. Never happened since

grease the latch up and check the catch has come loose and moved. My boot wasnt closing properly the other day and the catch had come loose and moved down so wasnt catching right

lol saxos aint too bad, should see the classic minis forums, the amount of 'so my brakes stopped working today' and the 'well the [Insert mini part] fell off this afternoon' threads, its madness. They have some patience those ppl!
