bought my self some coilovers off here never again lol, their didnt come with springs and didnt have any strut top bearings and had the wrong hubs on
120 coilovers
50 faulker springs
30 pair of vtr hubs
30 for the wheel bearings

so anyway got them all set up then fitted them on the car

yes mate gti interior very easy to fit its strait fit all that you will need is the bracket for the rear seats that holds them together when you fold them down were their split, and door cards are also quite easy to fit, the holes should be already marked all you need to do is put the door card in place and drill the holes.

3rd July 2012, 19:32

carlsaxosport90
3rd July 2012, 19:43
i needed a few bits and bobs to get the 106 dash to be mounted in proply and to get the buttons and heater and stuff working but got there in the end i enjoyed fitting it, i love the 106 dash with me being 6.5ft tall it give me loads more leg room and looks a miles better dash imo

i love the 106 rallye and always wanted some rallye steelies for the sax, anyway i dropped my spare wheel cage down and the spare wheel was a michelin rallye steelie with brandnew michelin pilot tyre on never been used, so i needed to find 3 more phase 2 vtr's to get the spare wheels off them, it took me a few months but i found them in the end.

carlsaxosport90
3rd July 2012, 21:49
when i got all the spare wheels i took them in to romax wheels to get powder coated, and took my cam cover in to get done aswell.

carlsaxosport90
3rd July 2012, 21:57
went down to citroen and bought some berlingo centre caps, and i also bought a full set of tapered bolts for the wheels and some plastic bolt covers then fitted the rallye steelies to the car.

carlsaxosport90
3rd July 2012, 22:07
bought some new 106 mirrors manual ones this time, instead of the electric gti ones, and colorcoded the mirror caps.

carlsaxosport90
3rd July 2012, 22:12
then took the front bumper off and i started to cut the lats out of my front bumper

carlsaxosport90
3rd July 2012, 22:20
fitted a single wiper and i bought some 20mm bonnet raises because the wiper was catching so i trimmed the raises down and fitted them and the wiper clears it nicely. and also a pic of my mates polar white vtr.

carlsaxosport90
3rd July 2012, 22:24
and now back to the front bumper i filled the holes in with fibre glass

carlsaxosport90
3rd July 2012, 22:27
then filler and a sand

carlsaxosport90
3rd July 2012, 22:32
then i got bored and desided to debadge the boot, so i took the badges off then filled the holes with fibre glass and filler and then a light sand

carlsaxosport90
3rd July 2012, 22:39
then i painted it but done it with the paint i had lying around i was suppose to be a gloss black but looks more matt lol, need to buy the colorcoded stuff!

carlsaxosport90
3rd July 2012, 22:49
anyway to finish my dash off i bought a rallye badge for it and 106 window pillars.

carlsaxosport90
3rd July 2012, 22:53
i bought a rallye steering wheel then fitted it, and thats my nephew driving lol

carlsaxosport90
3rd July 2012, 23:00
