Does anyone have any experience with these???
We used to have some on an old alfa 75 v6 and they were awesome, but are they a worth while upgrade on a saxo?
They would be going on a spare set of wheels and would only come out for trackdays :)
cheers

I've got a set on mine, feel real grippy, but I need them changed as there's less than 2.5mm tread, but it still holds well
Will be my next set of tyres, or toyo's

they turned the 75 into something that could only be driven sideways into a rocket. Even spa with the typical belgium weather and it was like driving on glue.
Just cant really justify £400 on a set of tyres lol

How much tread do these come with - 4/6mm, or the ususal road tyre depth?

4mm I think, Yokos website says they are for dry/ slightly moist conditions. However they are excellent in torrential rain as well!!!

For wet and cold days, A021s have the edge, but for general track use the 48s are fantastic.

These over 888's?

For me everytime although others disagree, probably down to differences in suspension setup.
There is a huge difference in sidewall stiffness, A048s are very stiff, 888s soft like a road tyre.

With stiff enough suspension the yokos are fantastic.

a million miles from the R888s. tried them both on the same car and will never go back from the yokos.
Its just trying to justify the expense when a stiffer set up might have a similar effct for less
