Currently the handbrake just goes right to the top, on the passenger side its still connected, but drivers side is sitting like this, is it snapped or has it just worked loose?

Thanks chaps ;)

Yes its snapped. Replace both cables. Easy to do but will have to remove the heat shield above the centre section to get access the other end of the cables.

Been quoted cheapest £90 for both sides, as it includes ' removing front seats, exhaust and heat shields' ??

Thats ridiculous. Did mine in 30 mins and it cost me £15 in parts.

Wow, and that was by far cheapest, been quoted like £120 - £130 elsewhere!!!

Honestly, removing the seats to change the handbrake cable is beyond ridiculous. I guess £60 would be more reasonable for a garage price, an hours labour and the part.
