5.11 advance boots

Didnt know if anyone had any dealings with the brand 5.11 or indeed the boots themselves. If you dont know them, they are tac boots worn by troops. Im after some but wanted any opinions if they are decent. Cheers

They are pretty decent, when i was a prison officer a few people wear them, but I found lowa boots to be the most comfortable, and my uncle got a pair for when he went to afghanistan last year and said they were the most comfy boots he had ever worn and hes been in the raf for 30 odd years :)

I'm in the RAF and I own 2 pairs of these.. I think there are comfier boots out there mate, I don't rate them!! You want some comfy boots, go for a set of Altbergs..

EDIT: as the man above said, Lowa's are made by the same company, best ones to go for mate..
