Well I'm fed up of hanging around waiting for a set of decent spacers to come up for sale... So I'm thinking of pricing up how much it will cost me to make them as I'm stingy and don't want to go out and buy brand new ones.
I have just graduated from Uni so can't really go and use the workshops but I've got mates still there so if I knock up some technical drawings I could get them to make them for me.
Thought I'd start this thread as I'm going to need some opinions/help/advice along the way and it might be useful for anyone else thinking of the same thing.
I'm going to replicate the hubcentric style spacer that bolts to the hub and then uses standard wheel bolts.
So to start creating the drawings I've thought of the following list I need find out measurements and populate.
Green dimensions I'm sure on. Red need clarifying.
Thickness: 20mm
OD of spacer: Any Idea??
ID of spacer (OD of hub stick out): 65.1mm
Height of Hub recess: Any one know this?
PCD of hub bolts: 108
Thread dimensions to be tapped for the wheel bolts: M12 x 1.25

So the above dimensions on that drawing are guess work from a quick google.
Also need to decide on material to make the spacer from? Any ideas?
And what material/size bolts to use to bolt it to the hub.
Any help appreciated :)
