Ok so flame suit on incase this has been answered 100x (search isnt working on ipad for some reason)
So ive finnished college, my cars progress is halted for a while and ive found myself having some spare time in the evenings.
Had to do high risk confined space training today which involved pulling a 13st dummy out of a hole... I was f00ked! Thing is when i was laying tarmac i was pretty fit but atm im getting a belly and manboobs!
TIME FOR CHANGE!
So with getting home from work at around 7pm and no gym thats mega local i'll struggle to get there until 9pm.
Now ive set the scene. Is there anything i can do at home to start getting fit and building muscle? The obveous one is change my diet. No more monster and cherry coke just water and robinsons orange! No more kfc etc. But other than running a few miles and a cheapo set of 20kg dumbells im a bit lost.
So i need to do reps for my arms?
Squats and stuff? Im a full on n00b. I used to do 20 situps 20 pullups and around 30 reps of 10kg dumbells. Any good?
Anyone want to write me a regime? I can do the eating throughout the day as i pick and choose when my breaks are etc.
Cheers

www.bodybuilding.com
Everything you want to know is on that site. If you want the results that much then you will do the research yourself, learn the basics yourself, find out what foods to eat and what to avoid.
Once you have figured out the basics, then draw up a routine yourself, along with a diet and post it up. Then others can give you feedback/advice etc.
Asking for someone to write you up a full on schedule when you don't know what works and why you're meant to do this or that just seems abit lazy to me.

I do all my "working out" at home but then my goals are different to most people, I'm less worried about aesthetics and more about functionality but still, I'm not in too bad shape using mostly bodyweight exercises day in day out for years, do the main powerlifting exercises too with about a 70kg barbell.

Mcquire, i was on that website straight after i posted having a read. Sorry if it sounded lazy i was just asking for general opinions and to see if anyone has a successful home workout and what they do.
After reading, i think i need to get my eating and general fitness up to scratch first. Situps, pullups, pressups etc and maybe invest in a bench.
So does anyone have any good tips for working out at home? Any moves or ideas?

So what did you read ? What did you learn ?
Any moves to achieve what with what equipment ?
What do you want to achieve with your physique?
Do you want to build muscle mass or train for strength ?
What is your current weight/bodyfat/height ?
What do you eat on a daily basis?
When can you train ?
How much sleep do you get per night ?
You are being far too vague, you need to be more specific and tbh I don't think you have read enough, you need to study it for a good few weeks, 1 hour is no way near enough.
It's like me going on the tech section and saying, ' I have a saxo and want to make it faster, I want to do the work at home but don't know what to do or what I need. I have the odd halfords wrench and an k&n air filter' any ideas ?
Get the picture man ?
