7th August 2006, 18:29
Maybe they added the * to make it clear that this vts was modified, as the vts above was standard - to show what difference the 15bhp extra gave out on the readings?
Yates
7th August 2006, 18:29
you can get 2ltr C4s so that doesnt seem dodgy to me
Cup is just the over seas vts, i wouldnt think it would be more bhp as most places they have the vts as 1.4s

7th August 2006, 20:21
Rumour... Was something apparently to do with the EGR valves.
If you put this same thread up on SSC, it will be locked within one minute. Hehe!

what do u mean with the "X". has that something to do with the motornumber. saxo vts 16V is "NFX"...

possibly an independant test of someones saxo. All vts' are 120bhp. Cups are what vts' are called in some european countries

7th August 2006, 22:24
there where two other limited editions the tour de course and san remo, but i doubt them stats would have been of either of these. plus there where only so many made
edit - and yeah they were only mark ones and also the 0-60 looks a little high for the standard vts compared to most others ive seen and witnessed. i think its just BS
Scott
7th August 2006, 22:37
they were ran as limited editions by local dealers to LAD motorsport, they were not officially citroen commisioned. Im full of usless shit :P

ok ive just spent 10 mins scoutin about on it, and i found..........fuck all...but....
i found this http://www.reviewcentre.com/review_comments8442.html
it has bullshit to begin bout 105 bhp vtr and 135 bhp vts both standard but he is soon corrected, then there is somethin about there was some 130bhp models released for a short while.
anyway read it all, is a quality debate and its funny as when a bmw driver and a saxo driver start abusing each other
deek06
7th August 2006, 22:47

Im 18, I havent passed my test and am having leasons. I currently own a 1.3 VW golf that i'm selling and I have full comp on it even though i can't drive it, fully modded aswell! £2500 which aint bad for insurance, next car is a vtr or maybe vts. I could sell my vw now buy a vtr and still be on the same insurance price even though I aint passed my test haha i've got insurance through Citroen. You don't need to be over 21 for a vtr thats balls. Vts i'm not sure what it would cost but im gonna wait till im 19. Bhp.. Vtr 1.6 90bhp ig 7 Vtr 1.6i 98bhp ig 7 Vts 1.6 120bhp ig 14 vts 1.6 (reg's V & W)130bhp ig 14 If your gonna get a vts and pay the money try and get the quicker one :p

im sure i heard that saxos can come out with different readings, some higher and some possibly slightly lower than the facts say
mine got 133.1 with only a magnex full system decat and pipercross panel filter
Scott
8th August 2006, 11:33
thats true some can be stronger than others andmake better readings but there was never a limite edition from citroen

Rumour on the SSC from ages ago. Never proven, probably shit, all gay
GT3
8th August 2006, 14:00
Probably due to the fact some of the press cars that were sent out were putting out higher power to try and get a better review. I know of two press saxo vts's that have made higher power on the rollers than other ones.
Reef
8th August 2006, 14:09
could it be the saxo evo ? *one wonders*
CampDavid
8th August 2006, 14:17

DevilDamo
8th August 2006, 14:17
