Why do kids use this word instead of "mrs"

It's longer

Auto spell corrects it Everytime

It's not a word

And grinds my gears..

Gangsters use it because it's just as easy to type if you aren't a bellend.

Ahem; Cool story bro.
(My 'first cool story bro' reply, feel blessed.)

Also I do actually hate it when people abbreviate words that once abbreviated it's longer than the original, either through characters or syllables. That grinds my gears.

mrs is a prefix, missus is your actual missus. It's like Dr and doctor. Why does anyone ever bother typing doctor? Cos they aren't a bellend.

Actually I'd say missus is the spelling of the pronunciation of the prefix; Mrs.

Also I don't use the Dr.s due to the fact I have a bawss survival knife; it has a compass, some gun powder, a needle with some thread some flint + steel and a picture of my missus in.

No bitez today... I see what you're doing. Technically it is a word, but because it's not in a dictionary blah blah blah it isn't a 'recognized' word of the English language...

Sorry to not fuel your need.

Most people don't use it because MRS would indicate they are a married partner, and not just a bit of fluff.
