I'm really craving just going for a really fun drive, but living in Nottingham, i'm struggling to find roads now that aren't being dug up, got speed cameras that are fixed, or have Bobby lurking down them.
Just wandered, are there any good driving roads left (nearby), that are challenging, yet fun?
I like driving snake pass and the alike, provided i'm not stuck behind a gypsy or arctics...
anyone know any roads within 40mile radius of Nottingham?

You've got a point... problem is, as soon as a 'good' driving roads become public knowledge, it gets too popular, council become aware and play havoc.
There's the dales which is probably a bit far but is without doubt the BEST fun you can have within the NSL - don't want to name the road for obvious reasons :)

mother f**kers have the road I was talking about. They call it Buttertubs pass... I call it the Run for the Hawes. but hey ho. It's public knowledge so it'll be 20 mph by next week now :(

I've got a few unknown gems around the sussex/surrey border. They have been duly baptised by my various performance cars over the last 5 years.
Always on the look out for new ones :)
