I got a quote from quinn direct TPF&F of £1700 on my own insurance... Atm i just want to get a cheap quote. Im not bothered about going on my mums insurance or dads, but just want to find a cheap insurance company!!

Any ideas people??

I got same price on my vtr at 17 mate. So you should be able to find it cheaper than that. But quinn direct are normally one of the best. Might be down to your area or somethink.

i think having a provisional licence can be a bit of a killer.

i have a 1.4 furio and a provisional licence, and i've just turned 21.

when i was 20 i phoned around and £1400 seemed pretty typical.

one insurance company did say turning 21 and getting a full licence would each lower it by a hundred or so quid.
