Sax struck by lightning whilst driving earlier!

Basically as said! On the M1 earlier, torrential rain, and then all of a sudden I was struck by lightning. Lots of crackles with a bang and a HUGE flash with lots of people pointing at my car! Was so strange! Barely damaged the car, slight damage but nothing I cant fix! All of it was cosmetic...

The burn mark wiped off like a peace of piss with some water, but it has put 4 major scratched in the paint, and one smaller circular dent type thingy (hard to explain)

True you will be safe, but not through insulation. It's the cars shell conducting the electricity away from you, because metal is a better conductor than a person the electricity will stay away from you. Rubber tires won't do fuck all with that sort of voltage

It is mate, provided you don't somehow touch the car with your bare feet on the ground giving it a path to earth. That wouldn't happen though. It always takes the quickest route (least resistance).
