Got her home thursday night, have to say i love it so far, tracking needs sorting out and the back box fell off today, but other than that drives so nice, had recent new wishbones ball joints drop links and track rod on the front, makes a big difference

And whats even better, VTS £15 = 80 miles , 1.4 power westy £15 = 130 miles +!

If you wanted mk1 looks would it not have been easier to convert the front end to mk1? or are you upgrading it from 1.4 etc?

Maybe so but i want to stick 8 valve,

Im thinking 1.4 xsi engine, rallye inlet larger injectors fuel pressure regulator piper 4 into 1 manifold and possibly toy with a rallye cam and full kam racing system,

Should see i nice 100bhp to be ohnest

Fair play, the 1.4 xsi has a Z cam fitted any way which is very similar to the rallye j cam in regards to lift so probably be best off to source of those as is and fit it.
