Hey all im after getting a Dimma spoiler & I've been reading through the searches & some people say that the Spoiler will have to be bolted THROUGH the glass (MK2)?
Surely this looks a bit dodgy im not really sure what people mean by bolting the spoiler through the glass?

mate if u remove the VTR spoiler - u will notice 2 holes. one on each side. i think the dimma spoiler uses these to bolt on to the rear.

Ah right,I was thinking that but the Dimma Spoiler is used in conjunction with the VTR Spoiler so thats what got me a bit confused :)

im not 100% sure but i do think you remove the vtr spoiler. would be a piss take drilling holes into your glass.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, but i've seen a saxo near me with 2 holes through the glass, but I've seen a car near me with a Dimma Spoiler and it looks like it doesnt go through the glass :)

Dimma bolts through the glass and through the boot lid as well. Might get away with just through the glass but i imagine the extra size and weight may strain the glass a bit, need to remove original spoiler to

Someone I know had a huge spoiler on saxo that was just bolted through the original holes in the glass. Within a month the rear screen shattered to pieces. You definately want it supported by some other means too.
