iv started to retrim my rear seats by taking the covers off and unpicking the stitches to use for a template. Now i want some ideas and some advice where to buy material froma nd what to buy.

I want them red, alcanatara i think as i dont really like leather and how it ends up :/

Do you want them all red, like a flat colour? or are you getting them professionally re-covered? You could always go with multi coloured (like red and black maybe) depending on the colour and style of your car?

alcantara isnt a great option for a car thats gonna get driven lol

I'm gonna be replacing the material in the GTi seats I bought when they come so would also like an answer to this, alcantara is quite expensive where as suede is cheap. Could suede be used?
