My poor little Car just got broken into!
Sitting here watching some crap on the tele, hear car alarm go off.. look outside and some hooded up chav was running up the alley behind my house! Shouted mum to call the police and lock the door behind me, then ran out after him but couldn't find him, got a feeling its someone nearby! Came back to car and the passenger door was open.Thankfully nothing was taken... surprisingly as stereo was still in. I need some help on HOW the feck did he get in!?
There's no damage to locks at all, window wasn't smashed, door wasn't bent or damaged in any way! Keys were with me in my room, the spare key is on my shelf. So anyone got any idea on how he got in? As im totally stumped and looked pretty stupid when the police asked how he got in!
The car was 100% locked as the alarm went off, and i checked both the doors when i locked it. I didn't check the boot... but my parcel shelf is full of crap, and none of it had been disturbed, the rear windows were clipped in place too.
Idea's?

couple of tie wraps or one of those straps that get used on securing loads on pallets.
made a loop, fed it between door and rear window , hook it over door pin, pulled strap and hey presto....door open.

ahaha true!
Ah i forgot about the cable tie's, must have been that then. Although i can't see it as most chav's around here wouldn't know how to use one.
Does the half tennis ball really work?

shit thing too happen mate but at least its alarmed and nothing was taken!
Probably just bent the top of the door back and used a retractable door pin grabber, it wouldnt even leave a mark! also if the car isnt alarmed and your not in a rush you can even lock the door again afterwards too leave people really stumped!

I dunno. We broke into my mates 2001 fiesta this way. Not a mark left. We pulled it enough to get access but kept the tension on the door. Afterwards it was un bent to the untrained eye. I can't see it. :homme:

Honest. Take one car mat. Put that against the roof panel. A bit of cardboard on top of the door frame. Stick claw hammer in. Pull back. Slip in the wire or whatever. No mark made. We were being gentle as he wanted to sell the car. Locked keys inside.

the mark is not at the top where you bend it...
its at the bottom of the pillar where the glass meets the door after youve effectively made the door pillar a lever against itself
you must have moved it VERY little to not make a mark

Yeah probably. Dark blue non metallic paint and having not seen a sponge and bucket ever means it must be hidden in years of scum!

Throw a bald squirrel into the front Grille whilst singing "I Believe I Can Fly - R. Kelly". Once that's happened you need to put half a cricket ball over the exhaust tip and punt it square on the front of the ball.
Easy access and very very subtle.

Someone had the mercedes engineers shut their gobs after they claimed their locking security system was the safest ever, and he unlocked their car instantly.
Very, very very smart to post all those ways to brake into a citroen saxo.

Yep watched the AA do this when a mother locked her bairn and the keys in the car at work.
It was a Ford Focus, and he couldn't find any other way in so he just pushed a few little plastic wedges into the door frame and opened it up enough to be able to put a flat metal stick down and loop onto the pin or inside handle.
It didn't bend enough to do any damage, and took him less than a minute.

thats becasue it is lmao
if ppl think a lock can be picked with vacuum from a tennis ball..then theyre sorely mistaken
it was derived years ago from the early central locking sytems...hit with decent force near the lock it would think the lock had snagged/trip the door solenoid and pop it back open
fords were terrible for it
idea was you pelted a tennis ball near the lock and it would give decent shock to trip it open without damaging the paint/dinting the metal
then trolls flicking central locking fobs simultaneously with videos of monkeys playing with a half a tennis ball, hit the net.......... and suckers got suckered in short

will work on any car that has a rubber vacuum canister that keeps a suction on the lock. Please do a little research before assuming what is fact and what is fiction.

as said, won't work on all cars.

Tennis ball trick will work if its a vacum kinda central locking like on vw golfs mk2, not sure that works other kinds of (electric) central locking
Is there any way of fitting a deadlock to a saxo without having a secondary key/barrel showing

Any additional security will slow down the break in/theft time but if someone wants it they will find a way.
